Kemp Smith partner Mitzi Shannon spoke at the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation Roundtable on April 26, 2017. Ms. Shannon spoke on the topic of Pay it Forward: Providing Access to Justice, Community Service and Service to the Bar. The discussion addressed the need for, and how attorneys can provide access to, justice to those who cannot afford it and are prejudiced as a result. They discussed ways on how to select a community board or other means of service to the community and on mentoring other lawyers and its importance to the success of your bar associations.
