Kemp Smith partner Mitzi Shannon has been elected to serve as the Co-Chair of the Commercial & Business Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation for a three year term beginning in August 2016. The Commercial and Business Litigation Committee is the largest Committee of the ABA’s Section of Litigation with over 5,000 members. Ms. Shannon has been a member of the Commercial & Business Litigation Committee for nearly 10 years. She previously served as the co-chair of the Construction Litigation Subcommittee, and most recently the Book Editor and co-chair of the Membership Committee. At the 2016 Section of Litigation’s Annual Meeting, she was recognized as the Outstanding Subcommittee Chair for her efforts as the Book Editor.
