Kemp Smith LLP is pleased to announce Sara Jaeckle has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Trial department. Sara received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, magna cum laude.
During law school Sara received the Tradition of Excellence Award (Texas Tech Law Review), Outstanding Second-Year Editor Award (Texas Tech Law Review), Donald M. Hunt Outstanding Barrister Award and McWhorter, Cobb, & Johnson Outstanding Board of Barristers Member Award. She clerked at the Washington Legal Foundation, the Office of the Attorney General in Austin Texas and District Attorney’s office in Lubbock, Texas. Sara also volunteered for the Texas Legal Services Center and the Innocence Project of Texas.
